Yoga

Child's Pose

(Balasana)

Begin on your hands and knees, then gently lower your hips back toward your heels as you fold forward, resting your forehead on the mat. Extend your arms forward or let them rest alongside your body, whichever feels more humble and surrendered. Breathe deeply in this position of complete devotion, feeling yourself small and safe like a violet growing quietly in the shade of larger flowers, resting in this sacred space of humble devotion and faithful love.

Benefits: Reduces stress and anxiety, gently stretches hips and thighs, calms nervous system, promotes introspection and humility
