Embody the Essence
Perfect Love & Elegance
Yoga
Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana)
Sit tall with your legs extended straight in front of you, like tulip stems reaching forward with perfect intention. Ground down through your sitting bones and lengthen through the crown of your head, then on an inhale, reach your arms up toward the sky. Exhale as you hinge forward from your hips with elegant grace, letting your hands rest wherever they naturally fall, allowing your spine to lengthen as you fold forward like a tulip bowing with humble reverence to the earth.
Benefits: Increases hamstring and spine flexibility, calms nervous system, promotes introspection
