Seated Bound Angle with Heart Opening

(Baddha Konasana Backbend)

Sit with the soles of your feet together and your knees falling wide like abundant peony petals. Hold your ankles or feet gently, then slowly lift your chest and create a gentle backbend, opening your heart to the sky. Breathe deeply as you feel your heart expanding with generous abundance, like a peony in full, magnificent bloom, your shoulder blades drawing together as your heart radiates outward with prosperity and love.

Benefits: Opens hip flexors, expands chest muscles, improves posture, cultivates abundance and generosity

4. Exhale as the arms float wide and down in a soft arc offering your radiance to the world.

5. Pause briefly, hands resting at the heart or solar plexus, feeling the fullness of breath and presence.

6. Repeat 7 times, letting each cycle feel like a slow, luxurious unfolding.
